About the Dubai Fixed Departure
The short Dubai, on set dates, at the price that gets most people there. Four nights, the three things everyone actually comes for — the Burj Khalifa, a desert safari and the Marina dhow cruise — and a whole free day in the middle to do Dubai your own way.
Transfers and tours run on a seat-in-coach basis, which is what keeps the price where it is: you share the vehicle, and pickup times are set by the operator rather than by you. If you would rather have the car to yourselves and Abu Dhabi on top, the longer Dubai & Abu Dhabi package does that.
Day by day
01Arrive Dubai | Marina dhow cruise with dinner
- Picked up at Dubai International Airport and transferred to the hotel, seat-in-coach.
- Check in and rest.
- In the evening, the Dubai Marina dhow cruise with dinner on board, the skyline lit on both sides.
- Overnight in Dubai.
02Dubai Mall | Burj Khalifa, 124th floor
- After breakfast, to the Dubai Mall.
- Up the Burj Khalifa to the 124th floor, non-prime hours.
- The rest of the time in the mall: the shops, the aquarium, the fountain outside.
- Overnight in Dubai.
03Desert safari | Dune bashing and the camp
- The morning is free.
- Out into the desert in the afternoon for the dune bashing.
- A camel ride, and the sun going down over the dunes.
- Barbecue dinner at the camp, with the live entertainment where regulations allow it.
- Back to the hotel afterwards.
- Overnight in Dubai.
04Dubai | A free day
- Nothing scheduled at all: the malls, the beach, the souks, or the attractions you pick yourself.
- Overnight in Dubai.
05Dubai | Departure
- Breakfast and check out.
- Seat-in-coach transfer to Dubai International Airport for your flight.
