About the Kedarnath Yatra
Four days for the Kedarnath dham: up through Haridwar and Rishikesh into the Garhwal to Guptkashi, then the trek from Gaurikund the next morning, a night at Kedarnath itself at 3,580 m, and back down the day after.
The temple stands under the Kedarnath peak with the Mandakini running below it. Pony, palki and helicopter are all arranged separately — they are released and priced on the day, so we keep them out of the package rather than promise what the mountain may not allow.

01Delhi to Guptkashi | Scenic Journey
- Departure from Delhi by private cab.
- Up through Haridwar and Rishikesh into the Garhwal Himalaya.
- Continue to Guptkashi or Sitapur, check in at the hotel or camp and rest.
- Dinner included. Overnight stay in Guptkashi or Sitapur.
02Guptkashi to Kedarnath | The Trek Up
- Early breakfast, then transfer to Sonprayag and on to Gaurikund.
- Begin the trek from Gaurikund up to Kedarnath dham.
- Reach Kedarnath and check in at the accommodation.
- Darshan at the Kedarnath temple, subject to the temple and yatra timings that day.
- Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
03Kedarnath to Guptkashi | The Trek Down
- Early morning darshan at the temple if you want it.
- Trek back down to Gaurikund.
- Transfer from Gaurikund or Sonprayag back to Guptkashi or Sitapur.
- Check in and rest after the long day.
- Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight stay in Guptkashi or Sitapur.
04Guptkashi to Delhi | Departure
- Breakfast, then check out from the hotel.
- Return journey to Delhi by private cab down the Himalayan road.
- Breakfast included. Drop at Delhi.

✓What to pack
- A 40-60L rucksack plus a small daypack
- Warm layers — thermals, fleece and a windproof jacket (nights stay cold even in summer)
- Trekking shoes with grip, plus slippers for the stay
- Sunscreen, sunglasses, cap, lip balm and a personal water bottle
- Power bank, torch and any personal medication
- Original government photo ID — mandatory at all checkposts

- The itinerary can change with the weather, the road, government regulation and the temple and route timings. Kedarnath is a high-altitude yatra and the mountain decides the schedule.
- Trekking, helicopter, pony and palki services are arranged separately according to the package chosen, and are subject to availability.
- Darshan happens within the temple and yatra timings on the day.
