About the Port Blair, Havelock & Neil Island tour
Four nights across three islands, with the ferry between them doing most of the work. Port Blair first, for the Cellular Jail and the light and sound show that is still the best hour of history in the Andamans. Then Havelock for Radhanagar, and Elephant Beach the following morning if the water is behaving.
Neil Island last, which is the quiet one: Bharatpur for the shallow water, Laxmanpur for the sunset, and the Natural Bridge if the tide has gone out far enough to walk to it. Back to Port Blair on the fifth morning for the flight home.
Day by day
01Arrive Port Blair | Cellular Jail and the light and sound show
- Met at Port Blair airport and transferred to the hotel.
- Check in and take the afternoon slowly.
- Cellular Jail later in the day — the most important historical site in the islands.
- The light and sound show in the evening, on the history of the jail and the people held in it.
- Overnight in Port Blair.
02Port Blair to Havelock | Radhanagar Beach
- Breakfast, check out and down to the jetty for the ferry to Havelock — Swaraj Dweep.
- Transfer to the hotel on arrival and check in.
- Radhanagar Beach in the afternoon: white sand, turquoise water, and the sunset worth staying for.
- Overnight on Havelock.
03Havelock | Elephant Beach and the water
- After breakfast, boat across to Elephant Beach.
- Snorkelling, a glass-bottom boat, scuba diving or sea walking if you want them — all payable there and subject to conditions.
- Back to Havelock, evening free.
- Overnight on Havelock.
04Havelock to Neil Island | Bharatpur and Laxmanpur
- Breakfast, check out and the ferry to Neil Island — Shaheed Dweep.
- Transfer to the hotel and check in.
- Bharatpur Beach, where the water stays shallow a long way out.
- Laxmanpur Beach for the sunset, and the Natural Bridge if the tide allows.
- Overnight on Neil Island.
05Neil Island to Port Blair | Departure
- Breakfast, check out and the ferry back to Port Blair.
- Transfer to Veer Savarkar International Airport for your flight.
